Dr Ted Naiman was one of the early adopters of recommending to his patients a low carb diet for better health.

In this video with Ivor Cummins he talks about may things, but a couple of points of interest:

  1. waist measurement to height as a good indictor of your insulin sensitivity
  2. blood tests to test for to get your current state of health
  3. avoiding dairy (e.g. cheese) if your cholesterol results are going through the roof
  4. nutrient dense foods
  5. the benefits of intermittent fasting, glycogen stores,
  6. body weight exercises.
